HPAE Endorses Bell, Mazzeo, Armato
Health Professionals and Allied Employees of New Jersey have backed the Democratic ticket in LD2
(Long Branch, NJ) — HPAE have endorsed Colin Bell, candidate for State Senate, Assemblyman Vince Mazzeo, and John Armato, candidate for State Assembly, all candidates in New Jersey’s Second Legislative District. Health Professionals and Allied Employees represents nurses and health care workers with the goal of advancing and improving patient care, professional practices, and working conditions in health care facilities.
Ann Twomey, HPAE President praised the three candidates for their “leadership and shared vision for healthcare workers and our patients.”
“I want to thank HPAE and their members for their support,” said Bell. “HPAE represents the men and women who care for and comfort our families, and I am proud to stand alongside them. Particularly in this political climate where our healthcare system is under attack, healthcare workers need a strong advocate in Trenton and I promise to be that voice.”
“Thank you to HPAE for the endorsement,” said Mazzeo. “I have been proud to stand alongside HPAE during my time in Trenton. These men and women do incredible work every day and I am honored to have earned their support.”
“I am honored to receive the endorsement of the HPAE,” said Armato. “As Assemblyman I will work hard every day ensure these men and women have the safe working conditions, responsible staffing, and protected pensions that they deserve. I will stand with HPAE in Trenton.”
