Hudson Chairwoman Amy DeGise Supports Peg Schaffer as Vice Chair of NJDSC
JERSEY CITY, N.J. — Hudson County Democratic Organization Chairwoman Amy DeGise is enthusiastically supporting Somerset County Chairwoman Peg Schaffer as the next Vice Chairperson of the New Jersey Democratic State Committee, along with Chairman John Currie.
“Throughout my first year as the Hudson County Chairwoman, the New Jersey Democratic State Committee and Chairman John Currie have been great supporters and mentors to myself and the rest of our organization,” said Chairwoman DeGise. “The state’s Democratic Party is stronger than ever before and it is important for us to continue building up momentum as we head into another election season. Peg Schaffer is a tremendous asset to our party and her track record of success and commitment to helping Democrats win up and down the ballot in traditionally red municipalities is unparalleled to any other. I, like Governor Murphy, am wholeheartedly supporting Chairwoman Schaffer as the next Vice Chair of NJDSC and look forward to working with her and Chairman Currie to lead our party forward.”
