Hudson County CLC Walks to Educate Union Members about Endorsed Primary Candidates
The New Jersey State AFL-CIO praises the Hudson County CLC for its ongoing effort to visit their union sisters and brothers and their families and talk to them about the importance of supporting the CLC’s endorsed candidates in the June 7th primary election.

The Hudson County CLC is working to elect Rob Menendez to Congress in the June 7th primary election. Dozens of union members made it a priority to ensure our labor movement’s continued strength in New Jersey by contacting voters to support labor’s choices in the upcoming election.

Primary elections are now far more important in the electoral process than they were in the past. In many cases, the winner of the primary goes on to win in the general election.  By endorsing and supporting candidates in the primary election, The Hudson County CLC is ensuring that working families have the best chance of victory in November.

We encourage all union members and their families to vote in the upcoming primary election. If you would like to receive a vote by mail ballot, the deadline to request one in the mail is Tuesday, May 31. For more information, visit njunionstrong.com.

Anyone interested in volunteering for labor walks should contact COPE Director John Shea at 609-989-8730 or cope@njaflcio.org.
