TRENTON — Mercer County Executive Brian M. Hughes delivered the oath of office to Dr. Sherrie Preische of Trenton to serve on the Mercer County Improvement Authority.

Mr. Hughes, recognizing Dr. Preische’s solid record in public service, said, “I can’t think of a better person to serve on the Mercer County Improvement Authority, and I know you will be dedicated to helping improve the lives of the people of Mercer County, and I thank you.”

Mercer County’s boards and commissions, made up of citizen volunteers, advise the Hughes Administration on a wide range of policy issues and functions, including parks, planning, culture and heritage, and more. Most boards and commissions meet monthly to discuss various projects, events, programs and other pertinent issues.
