TOMS RIVER, NJ – June 3, 2020 – Continuing to build on his campaign’s growing momentum, David Richter, the Republican candidate for Congress in New Jersey’s Third District, today announced that he has received the endorsements of the Toms River and Barnegat Republican Clubs.

Toms River is by far the largest municipality in the Third District, with a population of about 94,000 people.  Barnegat is one of the larger towns, with about 23,000 residents.

“David proved that he is willing to fight for the citizens of the Third District from the moment he entered this race,” said Toms River Republican Club President Geri Ambrosio.  “He has run a strong, honest campaign and has proven himself to be the best candidate to beat Andy Kim and take back this seat for the Republicans,” she added.

Susan McCabe, President of the Barnegat Republican Club, said, “During these difficult times, with many people currently out of work, David has the proven track record of creating jobs that we so desperately need in Washington to help turn around our economy.”

“I’d like to thank Geri and Susan for their support and also the members of their clubs for placing their trust in me,” said Richter. “Now more than ever, it is important that we elect principled, conservative leaders who will break through the gridlock and get to work alongside President Trump to Keep America Great.”

Richter is the former CEO of global construction management firm Hill International.  During his time at the company, Hill grew from a struggling family business with less than 300 employees into a successful public company with more than 4,300 employees.  A lifelong Republican, Richter grew up in and has spent most of his life living and working in the Third District.  He earned two bachelor’s degrees and a law degree from Penn as well as master’s degrees from Oxford and Harvard.  Richter and his wife Michelle, who have been married for 20 years, are the parents of four daughters.
