IFPTE Local 194, the New Jersey Turnpike Employees’ Union, supports A4175, the New Jersey COVID-19 Emergency Act, a smart plan to access revenue for New Jersey during an unprecedented financial crisis.

Local 194 Barry Kushnir stated “the 1,100 brothers and sisters of Local 194 applaud the leadership of Speaker Coughlin and ask the General Assembly to vote in favor of this responsible legislation. The New Jersey COVID-19 Emergency Act will allow access to much needed revenue during an unprecedented fiscal calamity brought on by the coronavirus pandemic. I respectfully request Senate President Sweeney follow Speaker Coughlin and draft similar legislation in the state Senate.”

IFPTE Local 194, the New Jersey Turnpike Employees’ Union, is a statewide public sector labor organization representing 1,100 working men and women in the Office, Maintenance and Tolls Departments of the New Jersey Turnpike.
