New Milford council candidate Jude Ezeh released the following statement:

‘No, I will not let this be. I will not sweep this under the rug. The Islamophobia Facebook post shared by a New Milford 2020 GOP Council Candidate, Malcom Sillars is wrong. It is nothing but offensive to myself, my friends, and to the residents of New Milford as it conveys nothing but fear, hatred, and of prejudice, and I highly condemn such post of his as seen below.

Islamophobia of any sort be it on a social media platform, or directed in person to anyone, has no place here in New Milford. Hatred has no place in New Milford.’

Jude was the former Political Director for the entire College Democrats in the state of New Jersey, and he is a Graduate School Student at Fairleigh Dickinson University (FDU).
