Jersey 1st to Sponsor Financial Empowerment Seminar
PARSIPPANY, NJ – Jersey 1st is sponsoring a Financial Empowerment Seminar on Saturday, April 24, at 2 p.m. at the Greek Taverna in Montclair at 292 Bloomfield Avenue.
“The goal of this seminar is to empower people to take back their financial freedom”, said Rosemary Becchi, President of Jersey 1st. “New Jerseyans of all backgrounds have suffered from the effects of COVID-19: illness, job loss, and school shutdown. We want to give them the knowledge and tools to help recover and plan for a financially stable future.”
Topics to be covered in the Financial Empowerment Seminar include:
·      Saving for tomorrow.
·      Understanding personal finances.
·      How to improve your credit score.
·      Saving on your taxes.
·      How to afford a new home, a college education, retirement.
Jersey 1st invited financial planning experts Steven Baffico and Scott Pollack to lead the seminar. “I am looking forward to the opportunity to share industry knowledge that can really help individuals to get their personal finances back on track”, said Pollack, Founder and Managing Partner of Pollack Financial Group.
Refreshments will be served, and the event is free for attendees.
