JNESO District Council 1 Endorses Congressional Candidates For November Election

North Brunswick, N.J. (Oct. 21, 2020) – JNESO District Council 1, representing more than 5,000 healthcare workers, is proud to announce the endorsement of U.S. Senator Cory Booker and 12 New Jersey Congressional candidates.

The JNESO Board of Directors, unanimously voted to endorse these candidates after a thorough review of voting records and public positions on top health care issues.

“These candidates have shown significant support for efforts to protect health care workers during the COVID-19 pandemic. Many stand alongside JNESO as we continue the fight for adequate Personal Protective Equipment, proactive health policies and additional protections for our members going forward,” said Doug Placa, Executive Director of JNESO.

The following candidates are beings supported from these New Jersey Congressional Districts:

1st – Donald Norcross, 2nd – Amy Kennedy, 3rd – Andy Kim, 5th – Josh Gottheimer,
6th – Frank Pallone, 7th – Tom Malinowski, 8th – Albio Sires, 9th – Bill Pacrell,
10th – Donald Payne, Jr., 11th – Rebecca “Mikie” Sherrill, 12th – Bonnie Watson Coleman.

“These individuals understand the issues that matter most to our membership,” said Placa. “They stand with patients and healthcare workers and deserve our support.”
