Joint Committee Hearing to Focus on Creating Opportunities for Women and Minorities in Business
(TRENTON) – The Joint Committee on Economic Justice and Equal Employment Opportunity will hold a hearing on Tuesday to discuss New Jersey’s efforts to foster opportunities to advance women and minorities in the workforce.
The committee, co-chaired by Senator Ron Rice (D-Essex) and Assemblyman Benjie Wimberly (D-Bergen, Passiac) will hear testimony from invited guests, including Hester Agudosi of Office of Diversity and Inclusion; Dale G. Caldwell, Fairleigh Dickinson University;
Robert L. Green, National Association of Investment Companies; John Harmon, African American Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey; and Malik Murray, Ariel Investments.
The hearing will be held Tuesday, November 12, at 10:00 AM in Committee Room 4, First Floor, State House Annex, Trenton, New Jersey. Audio will be live streamed at https://www.njleg.state.nj.us/media/live_audio.asp?SESSION=2018.
