Joseph Signorello Receives “Run For Something” Endorsement

Today, Roselle Park Mayor and Legislative District 21 Senate candidate, Joe Signorello, received
the endorsement from “Run for Something”, a progressive political organization dedicated to
recruiting and funding young candidates. Since its founding in 2017, Run for Something has donated
more than $330 million to candidates.

“I could not be prouder to receive the endorsement from Run for Something, an organization dedicated to helping elect young people across the country. In 2018, I ran for Mayor of my hometown, without any prior political experience, and Run for Something endorsed me and donated to my campaign. They helped me organize my energy and ideas into action,” said Roselle Park Mayor Joe Signorello.

Run for Something’s endorsement also comes with a commitment to fundraise for endorsed candidates. On average, Run for Something donates or raises about $15,000 per candidate.

“Our newest class of endorsements bring a unique and valuable perspective to their respective communities, each committed to effecting long-overdue, necessary and progressive change within their community” said RFS co-founder Amanda Litman. “We have the White House and Congress, which certainly matters, but the real challenge is to build sustainable progressive strongholds in our state and local electorates.”

“As young people, our time is now, we must fix the glaring problems in our state and take progressive action on the environment, healthcare, and college affordability. But to make these changes, we need to win elections. With Run for Something’s endorsement and financial commitment, I feel confident we will be successful this November,” said Roselle Park Mayor Joe Signorello.

In addition to the $15,000 from Run for Something, since announcing his candidacy in January, Joe Signorello has raised more than $50,000. Mayor Joe Signorello has been the Mayor of Roselle Park since 2018 when he defeated an incumbent Democratic Mayor in the primary and an incumbent Republican council member in the general election.
