KENYATTA STEWART CLOSES OUT HIS LD35 CAMPAIGN WITH A BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION TO REMEMBER… “ONE TEAM, ONE MISSION”
South Hackensack, October 28
With well over 300 guests in attendance at The Avenue in South Hackensack, Kenyatta Stewart, Esq. was surrounded by family, friends, his KS35 team, supporters and over 30 appointed and elected officials from all over the State of New Jersey. On October 28th, Mr. Stewart found it fitting to celebrate his birthday which is actually November 4th. While also ralling his political allies, both old and new, such as Passaic County Democratic Chairman John Currie, Assemblyman Al Abdelaziz, Mayor Andre Sayegh, and Councilman Luis Velez to celebrate the campaign he has ran for Assemblyman of the 35th District, as election day is November 4th.
The celebration was filled with over 30 appointed and elected officials from all over the State of New Jersey, such as Paterson, Haledon, Prospect Park, Little Falls, Newark, Atlantic City, County of Passaic, County of Essex and more. The room was filled smiles, laughter and enjoyment as everyone chanted “One Team, One Mission!"
Senator Benjie E. Wimberley, LD35; praised Kenyatta for his work as an Attorney for the residents of Paterson and as Corporation Counsel for the City of Newark, and the work he will do once elected. He stated “I believe, K, I believe…at the end of the day what you did in the primaries, really rejuvenated the City of Paterson. You rejuvenated the 35th District. You rejuvenated Bergen County. You rejuvenated Passaic County. You rejuvenated the State of New Jersey. You understand what it’s like to stand on the sidelines and help everybody else, but your time HAS COME.”
Well, his time has certainly come, in the words of Mayor Ras Baraka, City of Newark; “The good thing about it is that he made it here on his own…I love that for him because I know what it’s like to be a free man. Now they’re in trouble. You bring this guy from Paterson down to Trenton as a free man…watch out Trenton you have a fighter coming-Kenyatta Stewart.”
Mr. Stewart plans to close out the November 4th election with a victory as he did in the primaries on June 10th. “Somebody say seven days, somebody say seven days. In seven days we have the opportunity to do something very special. We have an opportunity to send a message back to the White House, that we’re going to fight back. We also have the opportunity to send a message to the State House, that we will protect the state trust. This is the new assignment, it is to show everyone that we’re together, we’re unified”. Those were the words of Mr. Stewart as he closed the celebration and asked the 300+ guests to vote for Mikie Sherrill, Dale Caldwell and the entire Row A. He spent the next day, October 29th celebrating Assemblyman Al Abdelaziz at his birthday celebration at the Brownstone House in Paterson where the entire Row A team embraced Dale Caldwell.
