LABROSSE TEAM FILES OVER

400 PETITIONS FOR RE-ELECTION BID

HACKENSACK, NJ — The Labrosse Team officially filed their nominating petitions today for their upcoming re-election bid in May, showing a strong early indication of community support and robust campaign infrastructure. Mayor John Labrosse, Deputy Mayor Kathleen Canestrino, Councilman Leo Battaglia, Councilwoman Stephanie Von Rudenborg and Council candidate Gerard Carrol submitted 441 petition signatures, respectively, far exceeding the minimum requirement.

“I want to thank every member of our community who signed our petition and all of our supporters,” said Mayor John Labrosse. “The strong support our team is receiving is a testament to the fact that the future of our city has never been brighter. Our team has worked tirelessly to bring new investment to our city, put our taxpayers first, improve our facilities and programs and more. We look forward to running for re-election on our record, achievements, and shared vision of moving Hackensack forward”.

First elected in 2013 and re-elected in 2017, the Labrosse Team has succeeded in revitalizing Hackensack by attracting over $1 billion in new real estate investment into the city, lowering property taxes, restoring honesty and integrity to city government, building new parks, recreation facilities, and public spaces, investing in the city’s infrastructure and working to create more affordable housing units.
