Legislative district 4 Republican candidate and USMC veteran Denise Gonzalez calls on Murphy and New Jersey Democrats to condemn Biden’s handling of Afghanistan.

               I am calling on the Joe Biden & Phil Murphy Democrats to accept responsibility for the current situation unfolding in Afghanistan. As a Marine Corps Veteran, I find the developing situation in Afghanistan to be an outrageous unnecessary crisis. The Middle East is a region that is critical to our country ‘s national security. This is why President Trump made sure to put such an emphasis on the relationships built within the countries in the region during his tenure, but it is clear that the Biden administration truly doesn’t understand the repercussions of their decisions.

Currently the Taliban is in control of Afghanistan and the United States Embassy within its country. This means that all the military resources the United States has left to the Afghanistan government to protect itself has been seized by terrorist. Now, we see the Taliban completely armed with military weapons including armored Humvees, tanks, drones, helicopters, and fighter jets. Overnight this terrorist organization has in its control the 30th largest air force in the world.

While the Middle East continues to find itself entrenched in war, I find myself asking where Joe Biden, Phil Murphy, and the rest of these Democrats who ran up and down telling us that they would make the world a safer place. where is Joe Biden and Phil Murphy while all this turmoil is taking place? Murphy is in Italy enjoy a  Vacation at his plush estate. Do they realize that the women and children of Afghanistan are being tortured, raped, enslaved, and killed all in the name of sharia law? Do they even care that our country has been fighting for the last 30 years in this region to bring stability and peace.

Clearly the Joe Biden & Phil Murphy Democrats don’t care about protecting women and children and they don’t care about protecting our country? The only thing that the Biden Murphy Democrats plan on protecting is their own personal interests. The Joe Biden & Phil Murphy Democrats only want to play politics because for them the power grab is much more important than protecting our allies in the region or the lives of our citizens. It is time for all citizens in New Jersey to stand up and Demand more from our elected officials. As a Marine Corps veteran, I will not stand down, I will stand up and fight for our constitution and South Jersey as the Citizens of United States of America deserve.
