Lonegan Campaign: CD-5 Poll Shows Lonegan Holds Commanding 19-Point Lead Over McCann
| Township of Washington, N.J. – The Lonegan campaign is releasing a poll today showing Mayor Lonegan with a commanding lead over his Congressional District 5 primary opponent John McCann with just days left before the June 5th primary. |
| Lonegan is up 19 points overall, 46% to 27%, and also leads handily in three of the district’s four counties (Bergen, Warren and Sussex). |
| Lonegan also emerges as the true conservative in the race, while John McCann is seen by voters as a flim-flam man – a liberal trying to fool voters. Self-described conservatives overwhelmingly favor Lonegan, while McCann draws his support from the liberal wing of the party. |
