MacArthur Asks Kim to Join Him in Calling for Burlington County Democratic Chairman’s Resignation

Toms River, New Jersey – In light of a recent report in the Burlington County Times that Burlington County Democratic Chairman Joe Andl ignored warnings about George Youngkin’s troubled domestic life from women in the Burlington County Democratic Party, and pushed him on to the Freeholder ticket anyway, Congressman Tom MacArthur today called on Andy Kim to join him in calling on Andl to resign.

“Andy Kim has already picked party over people in sticking with corrupt, career politician Bob Menendez. Now, it’s clear that the leader of the Burlington County Democrats tried to sweep his handpicked candidate’s troubled past under the rug by ignoring warnings from women in the party to investigate George Youngkin’s background before nominating him for Freeholder,” said Congressman Tom MacArthur. “Andy Kim needs to show a backbone here and join me in calling for Joe Andl to step down as the leader of the Burlington County Democrats and separate his campaign from the county ticket entirely. Andy’s previous comments that he was ‘disappointed’ in Youngkin don’t go nearly far enough considering Youngkin’s violent past.”
