MAD Global Strategy Expands to the Pacific Northwest
Seasoned health care executive and public affairs professional Cary Evans joins firm;
MAD Global Seattle office marks fourth state for the firm in just 12 months
Summit, NJ – MAD Global Strategy Founder and CEO Mike DuHaime announced today the company is expanding to the Pacific Northwest launching its operation with a key hire in Seattle.
Cary Evans, a seasoned health care executive with a distinguished career in public affairs and politics, has joined MAD Global and will spearhead the company’s growth in the Pacific Northwest. The Seattle office marks the fourth new state for the firm since its launch just 12 months ago. This is the second major hire in two weeks as MAD Global just announced the addition of Brenton Temple, campaign manager for Ohio Governor Mike DeWine, to its Columbus, Ohio operation.
“MAD Global already has a footprint in the Pacific Northwest with clients in the tech, energy, and healthcare sectors in and around Seattle, so it made smart business sense to grow our presence in Washington state. There is no better person to lead that effort than Cary Evans,” said DuHaime.
Most recently, Evans served as Vice President of Government Affairs and Community Relations at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, a leading health system in Washington state, and previously served as Vice President for the organization leading internal and external communications for six years throughout the COVID pandemic and a major health care merger.
“Cary is a smart, strategic, accomplished public affairs professional who has been trusted by people at the highest levels of business and government in America, and we are so fortunate to have him join our team,” added DuHaime
Prior to his most recent role, Evans served at an education non-profit, owned his own strategic political consulting and public affairs company where he developed strategic and communications campaigns for corporate and political clients including Ford Motor Company, Coca-Cola, and Verizon.
In addition, Evans served as senior staff and consultant for multiple U.S. presidential campaigns, including overseeing the West Coast operation for Bush-Cheney 2004, where he first worked with Mike DuHaime 20 years ago.
Evans holds a Master of Public Policy from Georgetown University and a Juris Doctor from Seattle University School of Law. He also has a Bachelor of Arts from Claremont McKenna College and is a United States Marine Corps veteran.
“I am excited to join MAD Global and help chart its future on the West Coast,” said Evans. “I have worked with Mike and members of the MAD Global team for two decades, and they are the best in the business.”
