Mahwah Republican Leaders Endorse Ciattarelli
Mahwah Republican Club Interim Vice President and County Committeeman Michael Schnoll announces several endorsements for Jack Ciattarelli:
“I am pleased to endorse Jack Ciattarelli to be the next Governor of New Jersey. As a 19 year old college freshman, I fear not being able to call the Garden State home in just a few years. This is because of the massive fiscal irresponsibility thanks to Phil Murphy’s leadership. As a CPA and successful businessman, Jack has a plan to ‘Fix New Jersey’ and get us back on the right track. This will be accomplished by correcting the unfair school funding formula to help lower property taxes, establishing tighter election laws, protecting our Jersey Shore, and by putting us on a path towards balanced budgets. Over the past three years, Governor Phil Murphy has abandoned such Jersey values while playing politics and putting COVID patients into nursing homes. Unlike the incumbent Governor, Jack IS New Jersey. He is 100% equipped to guide us during the must needed reopening process of our state and COVID vaccine distribution.
As a Republican, I am also confident in Jack’s ability to be highly competitive in democratic NJ. He won every prior election in constituencies where Dems outnumbered republicans, and will have the coattails needed to get republicans elected and re-elected up and down the ticket across the state. As we field strong candidates for state legislature and local office, I am confident that together, we will make Phil Murphy one and done in ‘21.”
“I couldn’t be more thrilled to announce that our newly elected Mayor of Mahwah; Jim Wysocki, as well as Councilwoman Michelle Paz, Councilman George Ervin, former Councilman and former County Freeholder Rob Hermansen, and Republican Municipal Chairman Bob Lockwood, have all signed on to Jack’s plan to Fix NJ.”
Also endorsing Ciattarelli in this latest batch is Emerson Mayor Danielle DiPaola, Bergenfield Mayor-Emeritus Norman Schmelz, and Cresskill Councilman/Wallington Borough Administrator Hector Olmo.
Statement from Mahwah Councilwoman Michelle Paz:
“Jack Ciattarelli will be a breath of fresh air for New Jersey. Supportive of my run for town council, I know that he is very understanding of the needs of New Jerseyans while also being accessible and relatable. His experience serving in state and local will serve him well in Trenton.”
Statement from Bergenfield Mayor-Emeritus Norman Schmelz:
“Jack has always been there to support local people which is what an election is about- listening to everyone. Jack has also been there to pick up the phone when ever I’ve called. He reminds me of myself as he is a regular person who happens to have held office to help people.”
