(Hillside, New Jersey – September 24, 2021): Today, membership-based organization Make the Road Action announced their endorsement of Mayor Dahlia Vertreese for re-election:

“As a naturalized citizen, registered voter, and Hillside resident, I am proud to support Dahlia Vertreese for re-election. In her first term as mayor, she has proven to be a powerful advocate for working-class families of color like mine. She’s also an independent, progressive voice who is unafraid of fighting for respect and dignity for all. Her commitment to workers’ rights and their health and safety is commendable and critical. Make the Road Action members are excited to support Mayor Vertreese for re-election,” said Lorenza Garcia of Make the Road Action.
