Drivers License Bill Moves to Floor Vote After Passing Key Committees

“For me, today’s Assembly Appropriations and Senate Transportation Committee votes are huge victories for all our communities.

Driving is not a privilege – it is a necessity. Thank you to Senator Vitale and Senator Ruiz for sponsoring the bill as well as Chairman Diegnan for your leadership in the Transportation Committee.

I am enthusiastic that we are closer to passing the S3229/A4743 bill. Make the Road NJ members have canvassed in many neighborhoods, participated in many actions, and made numerous phone calls to gain support all over New Jersey. We will keep fighting until we pass expanding access to driver’s licenses for all in New Jersey.”
