Marla Decker Raises More Than $20,000 at Kick-off Fundraiser

The Marla Decker campaign today  announced that its kick-off fundraiser, held last night at City Bistro, generated $20,225.  A long-time 2nd Ward resident and community leader, Marla Decker is a candidate for Hoboken 2nd Ward Council.

“I’m thrilled to have the financial and enthusiastic support that is already building for my campaign,” said Marla Decker. “It will enable me to deliver my message of bringing a new and different form of representation–one that focuses on bridge-building and problem-solving to achieve real results–to all the voters of the 2nd Ward.”

Mayor Ravi Bhalla and Council President Emily Jabbour, both of whom have endorsed Marla, spoke in advance of her, providing enthusiastic introductions.   Councilmen Doyle, Cohen, and Quintero  were also in attendance along with former 2nd ward candidate Nora Martínez DiBenedetto.  The room was packed with about 75 supporters all together.
