MAYOR ANDRE SAYEGH RECEIVES ENDORSEMENT FROM ASSEMBLYWOMAN SHAVONDA SUMTER

 

PATERSON – Assemblywoman Shavonda Sumter has announced her endorsement of Mayor Andre Sayegh for re-election. Representing the 35th Legislative District comprising Passaic and Bergen Counties, Sumter has served in the New Jersey State Assembly as Deputy Speaker and Majority Conference Leader as well as Chair of the N.J. Legislative Black Caucus.

 

“Assemblywoman Sumter has been a champion for Paterson and made it her mission to ensure that the city’s priorities are met in Trenton. She has been a strong advocate for the rehabilitation of Hinchliffe Stadium, helping to ensure the project’s completion,” said Sayegh. “I am honored to receive her endorsement and trust in my vision for the progress of Paterson.”

 

Assemblywoman Sumter said, “I am proud to endorse Mayor Andre Sayegh for re-election. He has put Paterson on the map with critical economic development projects. His unfailing commitment to Paterson and initiatives to support our neighborhoods further strengthens our community. I encourage voters to support Mayor Sayegh on Tuesday, May 10th.”
