On November 22, 2021, Mayor Derek Armstead hosted Linden’s annual Thanksgiving Meal giveaway for families in need. With the help of the Mayor’s Office of Constituent Services, Volunteers, and food donations from Capodagli Property, Phillips 66 Bayway Refinery, Shoprite, Walmart, SuperFresh, and the Union County Orthopedic Group, the food distribution was a success. The City is still receiving a tremendous amount of food donations, for which our families are incredibly grateful.

The event served over 300 families. The Linden Thanksgiving Meal giveaway represents bringing our community together and giving back to those in need. We want to thank all of the companies that have donated and would like to give a special thank you to Ms. Ginny Kelly, the director of HR & Compliance at the Union County Orthopedic Group.
