Mayor-Elect Jabbour Names Christian Duffy As Chief of Staff
Hoboken, NJ – Today, Mayor-Elect Emily Jabbour named Christian Duffy as her Chief of Staff.
“I am happy to announce Christian Duffy as my Chief of Staff,” said Mayor-Elect Jabbour. “Christian has been a trusted ally and brings a wealth of government and political experience to this position. I am confident his presence in City Hall will help move Hoboken forward.”
“I am incredibly grateful to Mayor-Elect Jabbour for the privilege to serve as her Chief of Staff,” said Christian Duffy. “Hoboken is where my journey in politics began, and I’m eager to get to work alongside Mayor-Elect Jabbour to build a City Hall that is more transparent, more collaborative, and more responsive to our residents.”
Duffy has spent over a decade working on political campaigns and in state government. After receiving his Master’s degree in Social Work from Fordham University, he began his career as an Organizer on Mayor Dawn Zimmer’s re-election campaign in 2013. His experience has taken him all over the country, including Alaska, Nevada, Ohio and Wisconsin. He served as the Hudson County Political Coordinator on Governor Murphy’s re-election campaign in 2021. Duffy served as Chief of Staff to both Assemblywoman Annette Quijano and Senator Joseph Cryan before managing both Congressman Rob Menendez's and Congressman Herb Conaway’s campaigns in 2024.
Most recently, he managed Assemblyman Vinnie Kearney’s campaign, who flipped NJ-21 for Democrats for the first time in over 30 years. He served as a Senior Advisor on Emily Jabbour’s Mayoral campaign.
