Mayor O’Brien and Council Members Endorse Roberts and Esposito’s Plans to Expand Sayreville’s Open Space
Sayreville, NJ — Mayor Kennedy O’Brien and Council Members John Zebrowski, Michael Colaci, and Stanley Synarski today announced their strong support for Council President Donna Roberts and Council Candidate Anthony Esposito’s plan to expand Sayreville’s open space.
The plan builds on the Borough’s record of preserving over 700 acres of land and commits to protecting an additional 300 acres by 2030. It also calls for the creation of a Preservation Action Plan within 120 days to identify and prioritize the most valuable parcels for protection, including Borough-owned land.
“This plan is about protecting Sayreville’s future,” said Mayor Kennedy O’Brien. “Donna Roberts and Anthony Esposito have put forward a smart, responsible approach to land preservation that strengthens our community, safeguards the environment, and ensures Sayreville remains a great place to live.”
Council Members Zebrowski, Colaci, and Synarski released a joint statement:
“As a Council, we are proud to stand with Roberts and Esposito on this initiative. Preserving open space is critical to Sayreville’s long-term safety, stability, and quality of life. This plan provides the clear path forward that our community needs.”
