Mayor Small Appointed as Southern NJ Vice President of the New Jersey Urban Mayors Association
(ATLANTIC CITY) – The New Jersey Urban Mayors Association (NJUMA) announced the appointment of Marty Small Sr., Mayor of Atlantic City, New Jersey, as the Southern NJ Vice President for the Association.
As the Southern NJ Vice President, Mayor Small will work alongside members of the Executive Committee to guide the work of the Association and engage with mayors in the South Jersey region.
“The NJUMA provides a platform to brainstorm ideas and share challenges and successes with colleagues who understand or face similar situations in their own communities,” said Mayor Marty Small, Sr. “I am grateful for the opportunity to serve on the Executive Committee with colleagues from across the State as we uplift the voices of our urban communities.”
Established in 1991, the New Jersey Urban Mayors Association is dedicated to working with state and federal lawmakers and officials to develop appropriate and effective public policy measures that benefit the state’s urban centers, and to help law makers understand how public policy affects New Jersey’s municipalities.
