Bucco Fails to Respond to Debate Request

When asked to debate Rupande Mehta, there has been no response from Bucco. This shows his complete lack of commitment in representing LD-25. Rupande is ready to go head to head with Bucco and understands the importance of discussing what is best for our working families, children, and our environment. Bucco’s apathy shows that he has no plans for the district. It is evident Bucco is in office for his own self interests, especially after his last vote against working families, schools and essential workers during such unprecedented times.

Bucco is a career politician who inherited his current seat from his father. His claim to bipartisan solutions is a farce. It is clear, Bucco isn’t working in the interest of LD-25’s constituents but only for his family’s name. Bucco is the definition of nepotism.

“Bucco puts out blatant lies on a daily basis but can’t come face to face when it comes to talking about what affects families in the district. His agenda is simple, and that is to use his family name to stay in power for his own self interest. He has been given the opportunity to defend his record instead he chooses to hide,” said Rupande Mehta, candidate for LD-25 State Senate.

As cases start to spike across the country and in New Jersey, Bucco recklessly encourages reopening the state by putting more lives in danger.

“Bucco is reliable in the sense that we know he has no plan to safely open up New Jersey and will not support providing affordable healthcare to New Jerseyans. This is not about blue or red, this is not about Democratic or Republican. At this moment, this is about survival and sensible leadership that will not sacrifice anymore lives and will listen to data and science” said Rupande Mehta.
