Mercer County Sheriff Jack Kemler Endorses Andy Kim

HAMILTON, NJ — Today, Andy Kim announced he has been endorsed by Mercer County Sheriff, Jack Kemler.

“We all want our families to feel secure in their own homes, and as the father of two young boys, keeping our community safe is at the forefront of my work,” said Andy Kim.  “I’ve worked hard to ensure our local law enforcement knows they can count on me to have their back. I was able to secure funds for Cinnaminson to hire three new officers, and was endorsed by the New Jersey Fraternal Order of Police. Sheriff Kemler and I share a commitment to serving our community through the lens of empathy and respect. I’m honored to have the endorsement of such a well-respected leader in Mercer County. I look forward to working with Sheriff Kemler and local law enforcement to continue building upon a foundation of trust and our shared interest in keeping our community safe and thriving.”

“Andy Kim is the type of leader we need. His willingness to reach across the aisle and work with anyone who is willing to help protect our communities is why I’m supporting him for reelection,” said Mercer County Sheriff Jack Kemler. “Andy has been a steadfast supporter of law enforcement and leads with dignity and purposefulness. I am proud to support him and look forward to working together to keep our communities happy and safe.”

Andy Kim has also received endorsements for reelection from the New Jersey Fraternal Order of Police (NJFOP), American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations (AFL–CIO), End Citizens United (ECU) / Let America Vote, Planned Parenthood Action Fund (PPAF), League of Conservation Voters (LCV), VoteVets, Giffords Foundation, Everytown for Gun Safety, Sierra Club, and Teamsters Local 676, Joint Council 53, Brady PAC, and AAPI Victory Fund among others, and was named VFW Legislator of the Year.

Congressman Kim is proud to represent the community where he grew up. He continues to have a strong coalition of grassroots support that has been behind him since 2018 and helped him secure two historic victories. Without taking a dime of corporate PAC money, Congressman Kim’s campaign has raised more than $6 million this cycle through grassroots support. Prior to serving in Congress, Congressman Kim worked as a civilian advisor to four-star generals and at the Pentagon, and served under both Republican and Democratic Presidents. He now resides in Moorestown with his wife Kammy and two young sons.
