Middlesex County gathers community experts to discuss COVID-19 recovery at fourth-annual Business Summit, Rutgers President Jonathan Holloway, PhD, to serve as Keynote Speaker
Event to be held virtually
Thursday, October 8 at 9 am
WHAT: This year’s Business Summit, Leading Together for a Better Tomorrow, will bring together leading experts across a broad continuum serving New Jersey and the County as the community navigates through COVID-19 recovery. As the County and the community lead together, each panelist will examine what their organizations have learned and offer insights and recommendations on how best to move forward in this “new normal.” A question and answer session will be included. This free event is open to the public and media.
Additionally the Summit serves to illustrate how Middlesex County continues to serve as the thought leader and broker at the intersection between research, policy and implementation, as well as the broker between government; private sector entities; partners such as Rutgers; and the County’s businesses, residents, and workers. Hosted since 2017, this summit is part of a larger strategic planning initiative across the County which culminates in the creation of the Destination 2040 Comprehensive Master Plan. Destination 2040 will shape how the County will grow and change in the future through input from those who live, work, and learn here. The plan will help guide the municipalities within the County with programs and policies to help achieve goals to improve the quality of life for all residents.
