Millennial Democratic Leader Endorses Hugin
Pulls Menendez Endorsement, Backs Hugin for U.S. Senate

MOUNTAINSIDE, NJ ─ Building on a growing wave of Democrats publicly endorsing his campaign for U.S. Senate, Bob Hugin announced today that he received the endorsement of Demetrius Terry, the former Executive Vice President of the College Democrats of New Jersey, President of the Seton Hall University College Democrats, and the New Jersey Chair of College Democrats of America Black Caucus. Demetrius, who initially endorsed corrupt, career politician Bob Menendez, now backs Bob Hugin for U.S. Senate.

“I’m humbled and honored to receive Demetrius’s endorsement,” said Hugin. “Demetrius is a true fighter for the people of New Jersey and has been a strong advocate for issues affecting millennials. With millennials leaving New Jersey at the highest rate in the nation, it’s incredibly encouraging to have leaders like Demetrius willing to address these issues head on. As Senator, I look forward to working with him and others to make positive change.”

“As a proud progressive Democrat, I am proud to support Bob Hugin and would urge my fellow Democrats to do the same,” said Demetrius Terry. “Bob Hugin is a different type of Republican who understands the issues that the people of New Jersey care about. He will be a strong, independent voice for the people of our state. Bob Menendez has left our state behind and I can no longer support career politicians putting self-interest politics ahead of the people and state of New Jersey.”
