Millennials for NJ Election Night Results

Millennials for NJ Election Night Results

M4NJ supporters – the results are still coming in, but I wanted to share with you some exciting news. This year, we donated $1,000 to ten candidates, and endorsed an additional nine millennial candidates. Of the nineteen total candidates, I am proud to announce fifteen are currently winning.

Some races to highlight –

Rupande Mehta – NJ State Senate, LD25:
– Rupande currently holds a 956 vote lead over incumbent State Senator, Anthony Bucco. If elected, Rupande will be the first Democrat to win the district since the 1970s.

Ginamarie Espinoza and Eddie Freeman – Evesham Town Council:
– It is official, Ginamarie and Eddie have won, giving Democrats control of the local council for the first time in more than forty years.

Mike Penna – Monmouth County Freeholder
– With 180k votes counted, Mike is currently up 6k votes. There are many votes to count, but Mike would become the first Democrat elected in Monmouth County since 2008.

It is still early, but we are excited by the early returns. Without your support, none of this would have been possible. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

As results come in, we will keep you updated.

– Matt Anderson
