Minority leader Bucco Names Regan as Chief of Staff

Senator Anthony Bucco is pleased to welcome Mark Regan, Jr. as his incoming Chief of Staff. With a background in legislative affairs and public administration, Regan brings a wealth of expertise to his new role, having previously served as Legislative Director to Assemblywomen Marilyn Piperno and Kim Eulner in Monmouth County and serving two terms as Councilman in Eatontown.

As Legislative Director, Regan played a pivotal role in advancing impactful legislation addressing critical concerns for residents statewide. His focus on areas such as mental health, school funding, and veterans affairs reflects his dedication to improving the lives of New Jerseyans.

Regan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication from Loyola University New Orleans and a Master of Public Administration from Rutgers University.

“I look forward to working alongside Senator Bucco and our entire staff to continue to make a positive impact in the many important issues facing our state and making a difference in the lives of the people we serve,” Regan said.

Beyond his work in public policy, Regan has authored hundreds of articles, editorials, and other written materials addressing complex issues. Additionally, he has demonstrated a commitment to community service, volunteering his time with various nonprofits supporting the performing arts, Irish culture, and environmental causes.
