City of Bayonne— Friday, April 15, 2022 — After a momentous meeting with Campaign Supporters and longtime Bayonne Medical Center employees, Mayoral Candidate Dr. Mitchell Brown, a local physician and attorney, announces his candidacy and election platform for the upcoming non-partisan Municipal Election of Tuesday, May 10, 2022

MITCHELL BROWN announced his Mission Statement for the upcoming Election, I pledge to: “Reinstate the Integrity of the Office of the Mayor. Each Personnel Hiring will be made of necessity. Each Contract properly bid. Each Development Project properly vetted and deemed valuable to our Community. The Taxpayers’ Funds will be properly allocated. I will return the City of Bayonne to the People.”

• Instill REAL CHANGE FOR THE CITY OF BAYONNE

• REINSTATE INTEGRITY OF THE OFFICE OF THE MAYOR

Positive Feedback from Constituents

After a dozen meetings with voters, there is agreement. The current narrative of the Mayoral Campaigns is extremely negative and illogical. For 7 + years it has been the “Different Sides of the Same Coin.” They both signed off on excess Development-without benefit to the Taxpayers. They lost track of City, State & Federal Funding. They punished the Taxpayers by increasing taxes without regard to “quality of life.” There is going to be a runoff in this Election and Dr. Brown plans to be a part of that run-off. A recent poll showed no candidate near even 40%. Voters are disenchanted.
