MONDAY AT 9:00 AM ET: New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy, Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf, Connecticut Governor Ned Lamont Call Out McConnell for Blocking State, Local Aid in Congressional COVID Relief Package

Monday, December 14 at 9:00 AM Protect Our Care’s Coronavirus War Room will hold a virtual press event with New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy, Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf, and Connecticut Governor Ned Lamont to highlight the need for immediate passage of state and local aid in a bipartisan Congressional COVID relief package.

The state leaders will make the case that state and local aid is a necessary component of any potential COVID relief package. Mitch McConnell’s continued obstruction of meaningful relief jeopardizes essential jobs and services, and threatens the broad distribution of a vaccine for millions. Governors Murphy, Wolf, and Lamont will also highlight the crisis facing communities if this relief package never materializes.
