Montclair Republicans Unanimously Endorse Harmeet Dhillon for RNC Chair

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Montclair, NJ – Montclair Republicans unanimously endorsed Harmeet Dhillon for chairman of the Republican National Committee at a special joint meeting of the Montclair Republican County Committee and the Montclair Republican Club.

“Harmeet Dhillon has distinguished herself as a leader, a fighter, and a visionary in the conservative movement and she is exactly who we need leading the Republican National Committee for the next two years,” said Michael D. Byrne, Chairman of the Montclair Republican County Committee.

Montclair Republicans were joined by Republicans from neighboring towns and counties at the meeting in which they discussed two of the most important issues facing New Jersey residents: election integrity and Phil Murphy’s new student brainwashing law (S588) which will be tied to the Department of Homeland Security’s so-called “disinformation portal”.

“While our most fundamental rights are under increasing attack in Essex County and across New Jersey, Harmeet has become one of the most effective leaders in our Party defending the sanctity of the ballot, free speech, and religious liberty,” Byrne said.  “She gets results and she takes no prisoners.”

Byrne said Montclair Republicans had agreed to publicize their endorsement and submit an open letter to New Jersey’s three RNC members thanking National Committeeman Bill Palatucci for his endorsement of Harmeet and urging National Committeewoman Ginny Haines and NJGOP State Chairman Bob Hugin to support Harmeet too.

“Grassroots activists, leading media personalities, and major donors are all demanding new energy and fresh leadership at the helm of the GOP,” Byrne said.  “We need new tactics and new strategies to ensure our candidates are winning by margins so wide that their elections can’t be stolen from them.”

The election for Chairman of the Republican National Committee will be held in California this Friday, January 27.

Michael D. Byrne is Chairman of the Montclair Republican County Committee, Inc., past National Director of Catholic Engagement for the Republican National Committee, and the principal of a consulting firm primarily dedicated to supporting and electing independent conservative Republican candidates.

Byrne and Montclair area Republicans are currently engaged in litigation with the Essex County Board of Elections to ascertain what happened to twelve lost Republican votes from Montclair’s Ward 3, District 4 in the 2021 Republican Primary.  They are also seeking information from the Essex County Board of Elections relative to the 2022 General Election Audit which unlike every other county in New Jersey provided no comparative details of any kind for voters to review and evaluate.
