Moriarty & Mosquera to Kick off New Jersey’s First Back-to-School Sales Tax Holiday, Beginning Saturday, August 27

Press Conference to Highlight Tax-Exempt Items and Savings for Families and Educators

 

(TRENTON) – Commemorating the start of the first Annual New Jersey Back-to-School Sales Tax Holiday from August 27 through September 5, Assembly members Paul Moriarty and Gabriela Mosquera joined by Speaker Craig Coughlin will hold a press conference on Friday, August 26 at a retail store to highlight the impact of the ten- day tax exemption for computers, school supplies and sports equipment on New Jersey parents and teachers.

Assembly members Moriarty and Mosquera sponsored the bill creating the tax holiday.
