Morris County LGBTQA+ Caucus Endorsements
Morris Plains, New Jersey – The Morris County Democratic Committee’s LGBTQA+ Caucus announces their endorsed candidates for the 2022 general election. Applications were reviewed by the Caucus endorsement committee, appointed by Chair Cara Parmigiani. To maintain the integrity of the process, both the Caucus Chair and Vice-Chair T.C. McCourt were not involved in the review process.
Candidates were endorsed following a screening process that addressed issues specific to the LGBTQA+ community, as well as the candidate’s support for the mission of the caucus in advancing issues of equality for our community. With so much at stake in the upcoming election, it is important to recognize and support the candidates who will stand up for the LGBTQA+ Community. Both members of the LGBTQA+ community and allies are eligible for endorsement.
There were many exceptional candidates applying, both elected officials and those seeking office for the first time. Noting this, Caucus Chair Cara Parmigiani said, “I am so excited by the number of strong candidates coming forward to seek the support of the Caucus. I want to thank all who applied, and I look forward to working with them once in elected office to ensure visibility, equality, and dignity is afforded to all.”
