Morris Dems welcome new Political Director

Morris Plains – Elliot Schneier has been named the new Political Director of the Morris County Democratic Committee. Schneier will succeed Leslye Moya, who has been involved with the Morris County Democratic Committee for the past three years. Leslye is moving to the NJ Forward 2021 team as Regional Political Director covering Morris and Passaic counties.

“We’re grateful and proud of the work Leslye has done to move our organization forward in her time with us. We look forward to continuing working with her as a new member of our executive board as Sergeant at Arms and now on the Forward 2021 team” Morris County Democratic Committee Chairman Chip Robinson stated. “Elliot will play a major role in transitioning our county out of virtual campaigning. He has already shown he has the skill set and vision to lead us to more victories in 2021 and onward.”

“Elliot has hit the ground running and I trust that under his leadership we will flip more seats and continue turning Morris County blue”  Moya said.

“I’m really looking forward to working with the Morris County Democrats,” Schneier stated. “Morris is a very dynamic county with many important races, and I look forward to helping elect more Democrats up and down the ballot.” Schneier is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin and has previously worked on a number of campaigns such as Hillary Clinton for President and Tom Wolf for Governor.
