N.J. Chamber President and CEO Tom Bracken’s Statement on John Harmon Being Named to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors

Congratulations to our Board member John Harmon who has been named to the Board of Directors of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

This is a prestigious position and one that John richly deserves.

John has long been a strong advocate for New Jersey and for diversity and equal economic opportunity.

Now his voice and influence will be amplified as a board member of the U.S. Chamber, the world’s largest business federation which represents the interests of more than three million businesses of all sizes, sectors and regions, as well as state and local chambers and industry associations.

We are fortunate to have John on the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, and we are proud that our two Chambers recently partnered to address the economic inequities facing Black citizens and Black-owned businesses in our state.​

We look forward to working with John to make positive change and break down barriers across the state.
