New Jersey Carpenters Union Rewards One Member for Community Service With a Brand New Truck

Matthew Eisler of Somerville Wins Brand New Truck Through NJ Carpenters Union Volunteer Program

(Edison, NJ) The Eastern Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters Local Union 254 will be celebrating one of their own at their Local Union Meeting this week. Matthew Eisler of Somerville was announced the 2022 Union Carpenters Action Network (UCAN) Grand Prize Winner at the Union’s Construction Showcase in Atlantic City, New Jersey this week. As the grand prize winner, Matthew was awarded a brand new Ford F-150. Matthew and the truck will be at the Local Union Meeting.

Over 1,500 members from the Eastern Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters were eligible for grand prize in 2022. Matthew was among 11 UCAN finalists invited to Atlantic City for the 2023 Construction Showcase awards dinner to receive 11 grand prizes. Other prizes included $1,000 Best Buy Gift Cards, and $5,000 Vacation Packages. Membership eligible included carpenters from New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, and the District of Columbia. The Union Carpenters Action Network (UCAN) helps support the union while also improving the communities.
