NEW JERSEY LCV APPLAUDS APPOINTMENT OF MICHAEL S. REGAN TO LEAD U.S. ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY

 

TRENTON – The following statement is from Ed Potosnak, Executive Director, New Jersey League of Conservation Voters, on the Biden-Harris Administration moving forward to address the climate crisis and other environmental issues with the appointment of Michael S. Regan as Administrator of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

 

“We should all celebrate the appointment of Michael Regan to lead the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. He is committed to addressing the impacts of the climate crisis and understands the importance of everyone, no matter their zip code, having clean air, safe drinking water, and open space. Also at the heart of his work is a commitment to environmental justice and racial equity,” said Ed Potosnak, Executive Director, New Jersey LCV. “New Jerseyans can also rejoice because we now have a federal partner that we can work with to advance the Murphy Administration’s goal to build a stronger and fairer New Jersey by accelerating the transition to 100% clean energy, creating good-paying green jobs, and preserving our beautiful state for future generations.”
