NEW JERSEY PUERTO RICO COMMISSION STANDS IN SOLIDARITY WITH THE CUBAN COMMUNITY

The members of the New Jersey Puerto Rico Commission wish to express our support for the Cuban people in their fight for freedom, justice and democracy.

We stand by Our Cuban brothers and sisters in their call for help and support.  We join in their movement in solidarity and condemn the repressive regime that seeks to silence their call to demand change.

Peaceful protestors have taken to the streets and cannot be silenced.  They have been met with brutal militaristic force for simply demanding basic human rights.

The New Jersey Puerto Rico Commission is hopeful that the Cuban people will break free from the grip of the pandemic and the decades of economic suffering, hunger and repression.
