NJYD Advocates For Young Diverse Leadership Throughout The State 

Trenton, NJ – New Jersey Young Democrats (NJYD) announced this week that endorsement applications are now open for the 2021 election. NJYD is encouraging all NJ Democratic candidates through the age of 40 to apply for an endorsement. 

“We are thrilled to open endorsement applications for the 2021 election season. The New Jersey Young Democrats is proud to advocate on behalf of young leaders working to enact real change. It is vital to have strong, new voices that will speak out about issues that affect all of our communities,” said NJYD President Fatima Heyward.

The deadline to submit endorsement applications is Monday, September 20, 2021. All interested candidates can complete the form here: bit.ly/NJYDEF2021.

“We are excited to support democrats across the state of New Jersey, from our governor to the local level, and especially young democrats. We are glad to see young people getting more involved in the political process. Be sure to check that your voter registration is current and please tell your friends and family to do the same. Check the Voter Information Portal on the New Jersey Division of Elections website for more information. We look forward to November,” said NJYD Political Director Stephanie Casella.
