The New Milford Police Department announces that the Borough of New Milford will be hosting the 2ⁿᵈ
Annual Domestic Violence Awareness Symposium on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 from 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.

This event will be done virtually and a link can be found on the Borough website  www.newmilfordboro.com. October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month and this event is a  collaboration of advocates, agencies and government officials who will be discussing all available  resources for victims of domestic violence.

Panel guests include representatives from The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Domestic Violence Unit, Alternatives to Domestic Violence, Center for Hope and Safety, Woman’s Rights Information Center,  Retired Superior Family Court Judge, Northeast New Jersey Legal Services and other dignitaries who  will be in attendance to support Domestic Violence Awareness Month. This event is free and open to the public.
