NEW NJTV YOUTUBE SERIES, NJ BUSINESS BEAT WITH RHONDA SCHAFFLER, FOCUSES ON NEW JERSEY’S BUSINESS SECTOR BEGINNING OCTOBER 3

October 2, 2020 — NEWARK, NJ — NJTV, New Jersey’s public television network, announced a new weekly series dedicated to discussing Garden State business matters, NJ Business Beat with Rhonda Schaffler. It will launch this Saturday, October 3 at 10am on the NJ Spotlight News YouTube Channel.  Moderated by NJTV News Business Correspondent Rhonda Schaffler, the program will break down the business news of the week and feature interviews with sector experts and influencers.

In the series opener, Schaffler interviews John Harmon, CEO of the African American Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey; Carlos Medina, Chair, Statewide Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey; and Ashley Edwards, Founder and CEO, MindRight about the issue of racial inequality within the New Jersey business community.

 

“I am thrilled to be able to expand on my weekday reporting with a program that digs deeper into business headlines and issues,” said Schaffler.  “My hope is to help our audience get a better understanding of how the New Jersey business community is affected by local and global trends and news.”

 

Schaffler’s business reports can be seen on NJTV News with Briana Vannozzi weeknights at 6 p.m., 7:30 p.m. and 11 p.m. on NJTV (check local listings).
