NJ Assembly Speaker Craig Coughlin Endorses Tim Alexander

The Tim Alexander for Congress Campaign announced another major endorsement today. NJ Assembly Speaker Craig Coughlin has thrown his support behind Alexander in the CD-02 race. Alexander has recently picked up many endorsements from NJ leaders, including NJDSC Chairman Leroy Jones, Congresswoman Bonnie Watson-Coleman, and Senator Cory Booker, in addition to the speaker. This is indicative of the growing confidence in CD-02 as a pickup opportunity for the Democratic Party.

I’m pleased to announce my endorsement of Tim Alexander for US Representative in the Second CD. We need independent voices who will fight to protect our democratic values. As a retired Captain of Detectives and Assistant DA, I know Tim will be that independent voice who respects law enforcement and our country’s laws. I look forward to working with Tim when he’s in Congress.

I am so honored to have the endorsement of Speaker Coughlin in this race. His leadership in the Assembly has been a big part of New Jersey becoming a leader when it comes to the protections of our rights. In this moment of history, we need leaders who will do the same for us on the National level, and I plan to be one of them after we win in November.
