NJ FMBA PRESIDENT DONNELLY ENDORSES PEOPLE, JR. AND CAVADAS FOR UNION TOWNSHIP COMMITTEE

UNION –Citing their leadership and commitment to service, New Jersey State Firefighters Mutual Benevolent Association President Ed Donnelly today released the following statement endorsing the re-election campaign of Clifton People, Jr. and Suzette Cavadas for Union Township Committee.  The NJ FMBA has more than 5,000 active and retired members.

“With the leadership of Clifton People, Jr. and Suzette Cavadas on the Township Committee we know that we have partners who will always work with us to help keep the community safe,” said Donnelly.  “They continue to be critical in working to provide our members what they need in order to efficiently and effectively serve Union Township.  In just the last year alone they helped identify the resources to purchase a new engine and ladder truck and they always make sure we are fully staffed as part of their ongoing efforts to protect township residents. Clifton People, Jr. and Suzette Cavadas are dedicated public servants who always put the needs of those they were elected to serve first and they will have the full support of the FMBA as they push forward to Primary Day, June 4th.”

People, Jr. and Cavadas thanked Donnelly and the FMBA for their support:

“We are proud to receive the endorsement of such courageous first responders.  We have always prioritized the safety and security of Union Township residents and we know how important it is to provide the people working on the frontlines the support required to effectively do their jobs.  During our time on the Township Committee, we have worked diligently to provide those resources while also maintaining our strong focus on Union taxpayers.”
