“LGBTQ+ for Biden NJ is so excited Joe Biden has chosen Kamala Harris to be his VP running mate. This is a historic choice and a winning ticket.

Biden has outlined a strong plan to advance LGBTQ+ equality at home and abroad.
We are grateful for their ongoing support and let’s win this in November.”

“Joe Biden promised earlier this year that his ticket would ‘look like America.’ And that he would pick someone who would be ‘ready to step in on day one’”, stated Deputy Mayor Dean Dafis of Maplewood. “Today he kept his promise with his historic and strong pick in Kamala Harris as his VP. But the collective work in winning over voters all across the country including young black voters (and first time voters!) who are leading us in the necessary re-examining and rebuilding of policing in our communities, that work begins. Representation is critical. But even more critical are open minds & hearts, personal & community evolution for us to win in November, win back our country, heal, and emerge greater and more united.
