June 1, 2022 — NEWARK, NJ — NJ PBS, New Jersey’s public television network, announced its news division, NJ Spotlight News, will provide comprehensive, multiplatform Primary Day coverage across New Jersey on Tuesday, June 7. Coverage will include live reports from key campaign headquarters and insight from the news team and political analysts.
Throughout the day, NJ Spotlight News will post Primary election coverage from across the state on its NJ Decides 2022 Politics Hub at NJSpotlightNews.org.
Then, the newsroom’s weeknight broadcast, NJ Spotlight News with Briana Vannozzi, will report on the Primary elections during its regularly scheduled airings at 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. that evening, followed by a live NJ Decides 2022: Primary Night special at 10 p.m. on NJ PBS (check local listings). Anchored by Briana Vannozzi, coverage will include insight from Senior Political Correspondent David Cruz, Senior Writer and Special Projects Editor Colleen O’Dea, as well as other analysts.
There will also be a live Primary update after polls close on the NJ Spotlight News YouTube channel at 8:30 p.m., anchored by Vannozzi.
In between, NJ PBS viewers will see on-air election updates as warranted throughout the evening.
