NJCA Applauds Appointment of Senate Majority Leader Loretta Weinberg to Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield Board of Directors

“Senator Loretta Weinberg has been an outspoken legislative champion on ensuring access to affordable, comprehensive health care for New Jersey women, children and families, as well as countless other social justice issues that have improved the lives of New Jerseyans for decades. We have no doubt that she will continue to fight for everyday New Jerseyans in her new role. As a member of Horizon’s Board of Directors, she will be a much-needed voice for our state’s health care consumers and our most vulnerable residents–including working families, women, children, and people of color–and help us move closer to our goal of health care for all New Jerseyans.
